1. How high can I build
a ROX wall?
We recommend no higher than 5 rows which is 20" plus 1.5 inches for a top
cap. This gives you a total of 21.5" of wall. It is also recommended
to glue the top row of blocks, as well as the top cap with a construction
adhesive. A product such as PL 400 or a comparable product will work great
2. What kind of base preparation is required?
If you are constructing a 5 row wall we recommend that a compact base of
sand or gravel be used. If you are going to be building a 2 or 3 row wall
you are able go simply put the block on some sort of base that you are able to
level. Because of the rough stone appearance of the ROX block, it is not
critical that the base be perfect.
3. What colors do the ROX block come in?
The product is available in 3 colors, sandstone,
slate and earth. Each block is individually hand colored and highlighted making
each block unique.
4. What are ROX block made of?
ROX block is constructed of high strength air entrained 30 mpa concrete.
This type of concrete is the same type that is used to construct bridges and
such structures. The air entrainment is added to give the product added
resistance to freezing during cold months.
5. How does the ROX block compare to natural
stone as far as overall cost?
The ROX block product is comparable in price to most natural stone products.
The overall cost averages out to being about half the cost of natural stone.
Where the advantage lies with ROX is in the ease of installation. There is
zero waste and no tools required. This results in an overall functional
more durable stable wall.
6. Will dirt wash between the spaces in the
ROX block?
Some may depending on how much you water whatever you are retaining.
If this is a concern simply put a layer of landscape fabric up the inside of the
wall as you build it up.
7. Can I use this product for a fire pit?
Yes you can, because of the characteristics of the concrete you are able to
use it in a fire pit application. We recommend the use of 10" ROX block

8. Can this product be used for pads and water
features?
Yes, because ROX block is constructed of high strength 30 mpa air entrained
concrete. It is also designed to be immersed in water. It is also
desirable for pads and such because of the flat sides and natural stone
appearance.
9. How do I figure out how much ROX block I
need?
Simply lay out a garden hose in the pattern that you wish to build a wall.
Then straighten it out and measure it. This will give you the length.

10. Can I use the ROX caps for pavers?
Yes, the ROX top caps are made of the same durable 30 mpa concrete that the
ROX block are constructed of. The caps are additionally reinforced with
fiber mesh, which is a fiberglass reinforcement system designed to add
